De motor is op zich niet zo uniek, maar het unieke zit hem in de lage kilometerstand van 8650.echte kilometers.
Degene die de motor koopt, wordt de twee eigenaar.
De eerste kocht de motor nieuw in Hoogezand.
Dat was in 2003.
De koper had al in 1984 een Kawasaki Z1300 gekocht en nu dus een nieuwe Moto Guzzi V11 Sport.
Later zou nog een nieuwe Yamaha Ténéré volgen.
Soms neemt het leven een wending waardoor de motoren plaatst moeten maken.
De Ténéré heeft al een nieuwe eigenaar en nu de Moto Guzzi is nagekeken, is deze aan de beurt.
Voordat de motor te koop werd aangeboden, is deze wel even heel goed nagekeken.
Vanwege het lange staan, moest de injectie gereinigd worden en de motor opnieuw afgesteld.
Tevens zijn de inlaatrubbers, de banden, de olie, de benzine en de accu vernieuwd.
De motor loopt zoals je van een bijna nieuwe motor mag verwachten.
Tijdens het rijden valt vooral op dat de motor zo soepel loopt en versnellingsbak zo licht schakelt.
Het geluid uit de gedempte Gianelli dempers is hartverwarmend mooi, maar wel beschaafd.
Kom maar proberen.
